This three-day trip takes you to the famous national park, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Tracking gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is just magical and memorable. It ranks among the absolute highlights of African travel. The recreation encounter on Lake Bunyonyi also known as lake of a thousand islands due to its 29 beautiful islands presents a moment of rejuvenation after a gorilla trekking adventure.

Day 1 :Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Today you will depart from Entebbe to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in South Western Uganda. The journey is enjoyable as you drive through the beautiful scenery of landscape hills and plantations all the way to the Virunga Massive as well as crossing the equator. Don’t forget your cameras to capture the beautiful moments.

 

Main Destination: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (Gorillas)

Accommodation: Rushaga Gorilla Camp

Mid-range lodge located just outside Bwindi NP

Meals and Drinks: Lunch & dinner (Breakfast not included)

Day 2 :

Memorable Gorilla Tracking- Lake Bunyonyi

After early morning breakfast, you will drive to UWA headquarters and be briefed before proceeding on the gorilla tracking adventure. You will love tracking in the ecosystem. After finding the gorillas you will spend one hour observing their behavior and taking pictures before you return to the headquarters for your tracking certificate. Later in the afternoon, drive through the terraced hills to Lake Bunyonyi. Check in your accommodation for a relaxed evening with stunning view of the lake.

Day 3 :

Lake Bunyonyi-Entebbe

Have a relaxed breakfast at the lodge terrace while viewing the beautiful islands of the lake. Get a nice breath from the lake and hills as you prepare for your return journey to Kampala. Expect a stopover at Mbarara town for lunch and a cup of homemade organic coffee. Then at the Uganda Equator for memorable photos and souvenir shopping. Proceed with the journey to Kampala arriving late in the afternoon or evening to be dropped at your point of drop off be it hotel, airport or home.
